FALLOT 4 - Unexpected problems starting today - SOLVED
Until yesterday there were no problems with Fallout4.
Today when I went to run it from Steam, it was uninstalled, I don't understand it!!!

I have reinstalled it through Steam, and when I try to start it, I get a warning that I'm trying to run it with “Optional parameters ‘-Les’”.

But I'm not doing that. I've checked the optional parameters and nothing comes up.

I can't play and I don't know what to do. can anyone help me please?
Greetings.

This is a problem with the Steam client itself.

Some have fixed it by reinstalling the Steam client. I have also seen some solving the -len problem by running the game in "Windows 7"-compatibility mode.

So far have I not found a good explanation for why and when the error occurs. It is a dodgy one, but most people seem to have fixed it eventually.

Was it on an external drive?

^^ I'd be suggesting that it was on an external drive that hadn't been awake when Steam was turned on.

Thank you very much to all of you. I uninstalled Steam, reinstalled it and the problem was resolved.

I strongly suspect that the problem was generated by this new update?
Anyway, now it's time to enjoy Fallout4 for the rest of Sunday!
Thank you very much for your support and recommendations. We are a very good community!
