diamond city house vs. cc player houses
I always found diamond city house cozy, large enough to put all workbenches and personal stuff. I even make a kitchen with table and fridge and some area to wash my dishes. I have a little living room to rest and listen music read some magazines. A mission prep area with guns, armors and even power armor.. all have seperate corners. I live in upstairs, managed to fit a second bed for my companions, with bookshelves and radio.. everything fits in that little house. Lights are placed with extra care, not too light not too dark, some parts are deliberately a bit darker to sleep easier..

that said, diamond city house can not be linked to other settlements. and this place has no style.. it's just a bunker.

On the other hand, I see that i have some CC player houses in the list, recently unlocked Nuka ole Cafe house, liked the place but there are more, one around Flying ship (a big one, like 3 stairs?), one at Goodneigboor (neon high tech), one silver shroud kinda house near bos police station, one noir penthouse.. somewhere around airport.. even maybe more that i forgot.

I don't know if I actually should move.. it feels like I'd be missing out some content if stayed at diamond city.. I'm living same old same my life there, getting old and will eventually move in to the Institute for retirement ;)

Maybe I should hang around with Nick and do some detective stuff and live at Noir penthouse. Every one of these houses have a potential roleplaying scenarios.. I may just make up some stories myself (maybe can use some mods giving some stories)

any creative ideas about these cc contents?

For Roleplay, some of the houses from CC are good.

But from a practical sense, the Diamond city house is still the best for the things the others don't have -access to vendors with only one load screen.

I like the one in Goodneighbour, even if I hate the quest to unlock it....

The hose just down from ship is ok and easy to get, and not too far from vendors as well, but can be a pain with the raiders that respawn in the area...

the Silver shroud house is.... well... not really worth it as it puts you in a part of the map you quickly outpace, and respawns quickly... unless you like silver Shroud roleplay...

For me, without them being actual settlements regardless of their location or size, no player home is worth using. But that's just me and my "MUST ... BUILD... SETTLEMENT!!" attitude. :D I would definitely like to use a couple of them but again as they're player homes ... meh.
