The single best mod I have experienced in Fallout 4 in my 5000 hrs of modded playtime.
if I could have only one mod and one mod only... What would I take?

Is it a armor mod like SE-01? or weapons mod from the Select series by Neeher? No? is it Xander's Aid DLC type mod? No. but close.
Is it a wild Loverslab mod like AAF/Commonwealth Captives so you can get some action with the hotties you rescue?
No.
is it CBBE to give the women of the wasteland wonderful figures?
No Or showlooksmenu?
No.
Is it one of Zorkaz' masterspieces like The Wilderness or The marshlands (just came out with a version compatible with .984 by the way).
No not even that, even though again close. Very close.

It is Atomic World.

Now it adds tons of extra locations perhaps about hundred, ranging form empty to occupied by friendlies to occupied by enemies.
It starts with locations North of Vault 111 which would otherwise be empty now give you a reason to explore there, tons of buildings many can be entered. Enugh loot to make the exploration worthwhile but nothign OP.
Unlike Bethesda, with its .984 CC content, the author, Leo1515 is very careful about keeping the game balanced.

From easy location to mid range locations to diffcult locations like eerie endless subway catacombs under the glowing sea Cities, yes cities plural, in the Glowing sea.
This mod adds those, Titan, Arkus and Atlas they are called.
And they are not empty... many dors to interior spaces too, if you can find them.
There is just SO MUCH content!

Endless exploration mixed in with plenty of fights to satisfy both explorer types and trigger pullers.

Also its super compatible with just about anything else out there and has NO prerequistes!

Here are some pics I posted on nexus: (Mod is not just about the Glowing Sea at all, but the examples are so large and easy to show here)

If I was in prison and the warden let me play Fallout 4, but told me I could have only one mod and one mod only, it would be this one.

Enjoy :steamhappy:

I really like that one too. There is a PRP patch for it if you are using PRP.

I used PRP for a while but its too much work to keep track of all the patches and I do not us eit now.
Thank you for the tip to myself and the other users here though :steamhappy:

I definitely have heard good things about it, but have had way more than my share of other things that would definitely conflict with it on my builds.

People who usually post their fave of all time mods that `everyone should have` are usually not. But this one might actually be a contender. I'll give it a gander.

not looked at this in a long while, thanks for reminding me...

Thank you and others, for the words of support.
This is usually a tough crowd on here. I mostly posted this to bring attention to it form folks who hadnt tried it yet and of course especially newer players.
There are other strong contenders, but those are so tied to a players playstyle that I did not include them.
For example if you love Power Armor the SE-01 PA is definetly a strong contender above the CC ones IMHO, but opions differ.
If a player likes exploration and immersing themselves into enchanting atmosphere of a seperate land, then the New Lands mods from Zorkaz are difficult to beat. (at least some of them even have prupsoe designed music) . But again not everyone will enjoy that.
This example is something that would in my opinion , appeal to everyone. Plus is very suitable even for a first play-through because it is so organic.

Now talking about ram. I've been getting lots of crashes which I thought was bad mods, but I got a lot more ram and over 2 days- ALL my crashes have stopped. I'll probably make a thread on it.

As for this Mod I've seen some of it as I've been travelling. It fits very naturally into the world and really kinda fleshes out some of the more barren areas without overdoing anything. not seen too much yet, but It's pretty good so far.

Thats great to hear. Did you explore those little areas north of Vault 111 yet?

Appealing Moles - Extra moles edition. It's the one and only mod I would take into the wasteland.

Not yet. But I went to the Nakato resident and saw the giant tanker ruin there which was a nice touch.

I was afraid this might cause me bug issues while loading in cells, but so far, so good. Of course I also have extra ram now which seems to help.
