The Ada Glitch

I'm sure many of you have ran into the infamous Ada Glitch where you are unable to install the transmitter on Ada in the robot workbench because all it shows is the option to change her legs. This glitch is apparently caused by so many reasons its just a typical Bethesda feature at this point. Google searches will tell you that one of the most well known ways to fix this is to damage Ada until she needs repaired, or to scrap the workbench and rebuild it, or to load an old save, verify files etc. However like I discovered today this doesn't always fix it either.
I did discover that if you just pull up console commands. Click on Ada. Make sure its her. I always check by using the "Openactorcontainer 1" to pull up their inventory through the console command, just to make sure I have the right character ID selected. Then I typed "Recycleactor" on Ada. Went to the workbench, and it was fixed. All "Recycleactor" does is reset the targeted NPC to how they were when they first spawn in the game. Didn't have to damage or rebuild anything.
I only post this because I spent hours, and I mean hours today trying everything google search recommended on fixing this glitch. So hopefully this will help someone out by fixing it quickly who encounters this as well.
If this doesn't work for ya the only thing left I can recommend is making a summoning circle, and try to summon Lord God Todd to fix it. Just be warned that you might unleash an Eldritch horror on the world. Good luck, and I hope this helps prevent the same frustrations I went through today.

last time i hit that probem i turned her into a Mrs. Nanny, changed her for Codsworth, changed him for Curie and changed Ada while she was not the active follower back into her mashed up form.

(thats my summoning circle)

easiest way to check if she has the "affection" is by sending her home just to notice that she absolutely don't wants to part ways (hence the follower exchange).
