** you like how they look / like what they add
AND
** you've researched to find whether they are broken / have conflicts.
We can't tell you what you like to see in the game, nor what works with what you already have. If you're mixing and matching CC and Nexus mods that's a complication that you NEED to remember when picking from either site.
Would these be good to get, X-02 power armour, ai power armour companion, and homemade shotgun
I didn't find noir penthouse / charleston condo / shroud manor player houses good. all of them are too big, bad placed on map and bad decorated.. well, maybe they weren't just my taste.
Dogs are completely useless. Transgodifier is a good idea though, still not used more than afew times on dogmeat, it also prevents putting any armor on him.. bad implementation of a good idea.
VR workshop is good, for who likes to build in peace. But it can also be used to cheat on survival mechanics, its up to you but still a good one. I build a cozy shack at shore of an ocean. I go there time to time, Idk if we can take followers with us there, If yes i might wanna install some animation framework mods if you get my meaning ;)
I used solar cannon a bit, good animations, like sending sunsets on enemies ;) I also liked the sound but stopped using it, i may wanna check if it had auto mode, it may be fun to use it with captain cosmos © power armor
X02 & Hellfire PA + Heavy incinerator. I used x02 in a few quests, its a good protection but its basically x01, with some extra.. and different look. I didnt like the devil ears.. and who actually uses the invinerator i wonder.
I'm still using tunnel snakes classic 10mm though, its technically a Deliverer but its sound is much more satisfying. And i liked the metallic look, its just a bit big but still
Paper mirror quest was curious but got solved quickly, left a good legendary anti-material rifle behind. I already was using it but the one came with the quest has a well chosen legendary, i switched to it. It reminds me Bozar from fallout2
Cr-74 quest was damn too long and it wasn't even worth it. I had to go to quincy to get rid of its quest items, and was about to die down there.. and almosy ruined my permadeath survival in lower levels.. used lotsa stealth bois to get in and out awkward places to take what was needed. Almost never used the rifle..
Armor/PA/weapon & pipboy paints.. they ate useful for different roleplays. I used a few so far. You can make unique looking armor sets for your companions by mix-matching different armors and painting them as you like. I recently made a nice set for piper ;)
chinese stealth armor looks cool but its a glass cannon, not protecting well enough. and you seem invisible but enemies detect you.. its worse than a stealthboy, a simple chameleon legendary can beat it.
Graphic tshirts are cool
backpack is cool, stopped using though
furniture packs are cool, havent used 95% of them but they look cool, if you combine it with VR workshop, you can build your dreams loL
sentinel power armor is good with undestructible pa parts on it, it not like that on companions.. and you can have pa companion + a companion with you. liberity prime voice is cool but you will get bored quickly.. i parked it in a corner at diamond city market, still can be used as a mule.. but if you give better weapons you will also provide ammo (you can simply use automatron robots with better weapons like dual-gatling lasers - ammo free)
zetan arsenal is useless ;)
-----------------
All in all, almost all CC content is good to have at first and you like them, then you stop using them.
You may still stick to a few maybe.
If I were spending points, the first I'd probably consider are:
- The rest of the VR workshop.
- Sentinel Control System Companion
- Settlement Ambush Kit.
- Coffee and Doughnuts Workshop Pack
The VR workshop I've basically already got just not all of it, the sentinel sounds fun, and the settlement ambush kit potentially allows you to view settlements remotely and thus allow attacks to resolve without having to visit them (did someone confirm this was how it works?).The doughnuts pack I heard a number of people enjoying, and includes a wide mix of things.
Have a great one : )
