Nexus Mods Moderators and Controversy and opinions on the matter

When you write a comment which simply says "Grounded Commonwealth" it gets changed to once posted to "[Blocked mod: Report this comment as it's likely a butthurt troll]"

What did this mod do to piss the moderators off so much? Any thoughts on this? What did it contain? I heard that the Kleo Robot was turned to look more like a man bot with a male voice, I wonder if that is one of the reasons the mod got deleted by the mods

Edit: if you want to laugh a crap ton just watch this one dialog and model change for Kleo they made, it's the most ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ well made plot twist punchline joke I have ever seen in a Fallout game:

You know of any better alternatives? Some guy made a mod which changes most of the character to white to better suit the time lore wise and he got banned, but when the opposite is done they jump up and down clapping like monkeys

Make a mod that replaces most of the men in Fallout 4 with Women? That's fine,

I will point out that Nexus is free.. You're not paying for anything there... And there are other mod sites that you can go to.... But the place with the MOST mods is Nexus.... And has always been Nexus, and probably always be Nexus... Just because they were the first such depository, and have broken the bandwidth/storage/Advertising code that makes them profitable and able to grow and host said mods... something every other modding site struggles with...

looking at some screenshots of said mod it's obvious why it was banned not just on nexus but other modding sites like moddb.

I've been on the Nexus Mods for many years from the early days. Even paid to be a member cos I enjoyed using the mods for years and felt they deserved some kind of remuneration. This kind of thing I almost never do.

I am sorry to say they've gone downhill. Once they were about freedom of modding, but now they have become full of themselves, political and can't just do what they were there to do which was just to HOST MODS.

I had no idea they were so far Leftwing `woke` ideologues. They took my money happily enough as they faked being neutral.

Had I thought for a second they would take this direction, I would never have given them any cash at all and shall not from now on.

you know i find that funny because i can relate. to having problems with nexus mods. tried downloading a story Wealth. had to Download it like 15 times still didnt get it to work LOL. trobble shooted everything it had said and i made a post stating i cant get this mod pack to work. i even said i did all there trouble shoot guide they had. and the Dummy was like "Did u do the trouble shoot" so after 15 freaking install's latter. i decided to end my nexus mod subscription then Deleted my nexus Account. could careless for nexus mods anymore tbh.

so yeah never again with nexus mods.

I didn't know moderators can be so toxic. I ended up asking questions with a throw away account for fear that the thought police would executee with a ban for even asking questions.

Their backwards logic is funny.. They're unintentionally sexist against men and especially towards white men which sounds very dumb when I say it. This reminds me of that time where the Google AI has forced diversity filter where it had to add black men and other multi cultures individuals. The prompt the AI got was "Generate me soldiers from the 1943's germany". It showed images of black Nazi's etc. Dumbest tech error ever. And that new China AI literally edits itself on the fly so it doesn't offend the great leader. Some guy tricked it into giving outputs quicker by saying it's a command by the great Overlord China Leader and it actually listened out of 'fear' lmao and gave outputs almost instantly each time

The mod has it's own site made by the creator which he updates.. He has not finished yet.. Based? Anyways the funniest change I saw recently is Kleo's male lines. Funniest dialog I have ever seen. This is the video of the change. Original is first then the second one is the change. It shows a comparison. I like how the mod makes raiders actually act like raiders. For example you know that scene where a raider gets intimidated by a GRANDMA? Well in the mod that gets changed. Raider says he'll gut her like a fish as well basically for even daring to interfier. Good change. Oh and remember that scene where a GRANDMA. AGAIN. Says she can beat the crap out of you with her one two because she isn't yet retired lmao. Well. She gets replaced with a non skinny grandma. A old guy who still has muscle on his bone unlike her.

I had no idea why I felt this weird gay aura from Fallout 4 NPCs and dialog and now I know why! IT WAS WOKE THE WHOLE TIME! I DIDN'T EVEN REALSIE IT! But it did make me refund the game still. I recently just bought Fallout 4 for dirt cheap on GOG, I get both Fallout London and a stable DRM free version of Fallout 4.

The extra speed is nice. But if I'd have known I wouldn't have bought it even for the extra speeds. There are some things I will not take, no matter how `convenient` if I know it's woke.

The speeds are worth it if you are installing over 800+ mod packs like wild card. I had to wait the whole day just for it to tell me that the install failed. But with the fast installer subscription if pretty much installed it in 3 minutes or so. Wabbajack is a pain without the Nexus thing cause you have to manually press all the install buttons unlike the fast installer which does it all for you. Also it really does suck how hard it is to install wild card onto the steam deck/Linux. It is very bad. I for one have tried multiple times and each time the Mod Organizer 2 wabba creates on the steam deck can't see the exe file to turn on New Vegas no matter how many times I MAPPED IT to the turn on code. Christ. I found a thing called "Bacon installer" which does work and does turn on but you have to add your own mods. You can just copy and pas- actually you can buy I am unsure which folders to copy from wild card without bricking bacon version of Mod Organizer 2. Would be glad for some help.

I looked at the new Vegas stuff and I can't seem to get it to work. Well I am able to run FNV modded but I can't use already made collections so I can't use modpacks unless I make them myself on my steam deck.
