Fallout 4 Project Depravity, Fusion City Rising, Project Valkyrie, and Outcast and Remnants Mods Not Working.
For years of modding Fallout 4, I've never used these mods except for Project Valkyrie and Outcast and Remnants. For some reason, when I use Project Depravity, it crashes my game. Since I use the downgraded version of Fallout 4 (1.10.160), I try and use the download version of the file that matches 1.10.160. I used to use Vortex, but then I switched to MO2 hoping that it would fix it, but it didn't. Is there any way that I can fix this issue? I've used Buffout 4, but didn't work. I checked to see if I am missing any files, but I am not. I read the instructions very carefully, but still hasn't worked. Any help is appreciated!

This looks to be one of the better quick set-up tutorial vids, be mindful of the 6:35 mark.

Use a GOG non-downgraded prior release, with the correct versions of your mod launcher and F4SE. Fallout is version .163 not 160 so if you're using some non-standard version that may be the problem entirely. Buffout is also on an experimental branch for Next Gen so make SURE that you're using the correct one for your launcher, organizer, AND game.

I would suggest... don't use all of those at once? They're all VERY LARGE overarching changes to the base game. Choose ONE of them.

I should've mentioned, I use Steam Fallout

And, the depravity mod requires the Outcast and Remnants mod

Right, so have you actually looked at their download pages and FAQ for interaction with each other (non-dependent ones) or issues with downgraded version of Steam? How are you launching the game? If your F4SE isn't correct it's not going to work anyway. I don't use any of them myself so I'd say rely more on the comments sections, discord channels, or other sources for their interaction and bugs.

I have, it only says the version of the mod, but it doesn't say which version of Fallout is compatible, I tried to join their discord, but the link expired.

All four mods are compatible with both Fallout 4 versions (NG and 163) and have no further requiirements, though the cbbe body is recommended. There are no different downloads for different versions. The current mod version works for both.

If you are really running Fallout version 160 you either downgraded to the wrong version or you are using a pirated version of the game. In both cases that may be the problem.

My apologies, that was a typo. I have the version 1.10.163

Is there any versions of these mods that support 1.10.163? I even downloaded the files that were released later in 2018.

You have to download the current versions of the mods (aka main files). All four of them are compatible with both NG and 163.

There is NO need to download any of the older mod versions (aka old files).

You also need to use both "Depravity" and "Outcasts and Remnants" as Depravity needs the other mod as a master file.

Okay, that makes sense. Because I use mo2, I downloaded the mods, and the mo2 sent the files to steam fallout data folder. What do I do to from there? It just has the mods as a folder. I even tried to move all the contents into the correct folders. But since it was with that older files. I will try out the current versions.

I played all of those on .163 with no issues.
So u likely have a conflict somewhere.

Since you use mod organizer here a post from the author of the collective modding toolkit:

"As an example, MO2 didn't support v7/8 archives and gave users errors until v2.5.2 in August, and Wrye Bash didn't until ~2 weeks ago."

So if you have problems with mod compatibility you may have to update MO2.

If you don't know how to use mod organizer 2 then it's time to spend some hours watching tutorials (or switch over to vortex which is way more user friendly but not as good when using extensive conflicting load orders).

You have to activate the mods properly and save your profile, too....

Sorry, since I am new to mo2. I don't exactly know how to do that..

Then you should read MO2's faq, which would certainly be the best option since then you might learn other aspects of it such as 'how to export your load order' and 'how to save different profiles'....
