please finally include the fix of this one bug

If the fps side of that is above 60 that will happen. The higher you go the easier it is to happen. No idea about a mod for that.

yeah i heard about that,
sometimes it also fixes itself by pausing the game or alt tabbing out
in the end i had to use console command tcl for noclip
lucky thing you can also use a console command to get back into survival mode
wich you normally cannot return to and you have to exit survival to be able to use console commands

but this bug has me afraight to use terminals for years because it happens just so insanely often,
this time it totally locked my savefile since you only have one save in survival and it happenned in the mechanist lair wich cannot be exited without using the terminal because you have t use it to end the bossfight wich traps you in the room until finished

Then make sure that you are actually using 60 fps.

That's the fix.

Stop going above 60. Generally speaking, this will fix itself.

There is a console command that lets you activate survival mode again once you have deactivated it. And mods that let you use the console in survival mode (as well as mode to let you get achievements when using other mods). So there really is no reason the console can not be used to fix something. The command:

cgf "Game. IncrementStat" "Survival Denied" -1

And yeah, FPS is the problem. It isn't something wrong with the game itself. Over 1400 hours, and I've never gotten stuck at a terminal. My system isn't a potato, but also isn't all that great, so I've never had a problem with the FPS being too high.

I only get stuck in the Fort Hagen area where there are chem tables lined up... never use those. you can't leave :D but that's because apparently there's something either invisible or too close and you can't move, just like in the Mechanist Lair where you have to get SUPER CLOSE UP to the button to turn things off.

yeah, after getting away with noclip and turning it back on i realized some hitbox for something invisible too but i cant say if it was there before all of that happenned,
gonna watch out for that when im at fort hagen
but i honestly generally avoid terminals as much as possible

Just be aware of two common problems with them:

Don't be in power armor, SOME do not allow it but also aren't in a good spot for that,

and

GET CLOSE to it first, the animation for you sitting down will be where it fails, which is let's just say STUPID, but there it is.

With survival mode on it's much more annoying I am SURE of that.

yeah, just went through fort hagen and at least theres some beds in it to save in case it happens lmao
