Race mod not working.

Playing on my steamdeck. Installed "Lupine race" from nexus and activated it. Started new game and both nate and Nora are both headless and there skin is purple as if there's no texture. This happened with the Proto-Argonian mod to. F4se, looks menu and cbbe are all installed as they should be. If I can, il post a video on Imgur of all the mods I have installed, if that helps.

Going to go out of a limb here:

You are running fallout 4 1.10.984 (AKA Fallout 4 NG) and THAT is the sole reason why it doesn't work.

No, I am not just being a "hater"... Fallout 4 NG broke looksmenu, and the beta that is out still doesn't work as intended... this is partly because of the data file changes and the facegen file changes NG introduced.
Without Looksmenu to handle the importation of alternate skins, race mods are in a broken state currently. You can try a "total conversion" mod - if one exists- and that may work.

Tell me more about these total conversion mods

f4se has nothing to do with it.

This is a LOOKSMENU issue, brought on by the file structure changes in fallout 4 NG.

Until LOOKSMENU gets fixed (which its looking like it won't be) certain options we used to have are no longer available to us.

Currently, your options are:

1: Not play with mods that require LOOKSMENU advanced features.

2: Downgrade your game to 1.10.163 (Old Fallout 4). There are multiple guides on how to do this both here, and one the Nexus.

Good news! I would a race mod that works without looks menu! It's the javelin robot thing mod :/

Not saying there isn't any "race" mods out there that don't use LOOKSMENU.... but I have never encountered one...
