Moving Shaun to a Settlement

I completed my 5th playthrough recently and took the Institue ending.
Shaun hangs out in advanced systems.
Is it possible to move him without mods to a settlement when you don't destroy the Institute?
I haven't spoken to him lately but I don't recall having a dialog option to send him elsewhere last I spoke with him.

No, he's not a settler and only shows up specific places when you either keep or destroy it with escaping with him intact.

Hmm yea I guess he stays in Advanced Systems in the Institute forever then.

Yeah he sits in the sanctuary garage shade (provided you haven't removed the building) with an MM run, I'm not sure what happens to him otherwise. I'd find it very hard to believe they'd want him on the prydwen....

They confront you with him in the railroad and BoS endings just before you and your team get into the teleporter to go back to the surface before you blow up the institute.
