Problem with building

Hi, i was building house in sanctuary, everything were fine until i wanted to build roof. I built 5 pieces of brown roof and i can't build more. I just can build blue roofs but i want brown one. It's a bug? How can I fix it?

You might have reached the build limit. If so google around for how to reduce it. Or your wished roof part may be blocked. If so trey to remove a part and put it where you want your part 6 to go.

Is there a tree in the way? or something else?

Building can be fidgety, so you may go around by removing something, add in something and readd tha removed part. And/Or move around a bit with your character.

hmm I will se, thank you! There isn't any tree or something like that, so I think it may be this limit. Thanks!

I did not understand which roofs you are talking about, brown and blue, maybe a screenshot would be useful.
Check the build bar at the top right. If it is full it can be seen clearly.
If the bar is full the limit is reached: by recycling weapons and armor inside the settlement or various debris the bar increases in size so you can build.

i mean brown roof-rusty roof, blue roof- roof made of sheet. The build bar is not full.

I have a screenshot for exactly this: you may be mistaking the quantity you have versus the amount you can build.

It's not likely a bug. You probably do not have the right components to make them.

There are tutorials on how to construct an entire attic in an empty area, then move it on top of a house. Prolong hold E to select an entire object made of pieces.

You mean ,,rebuilding,, sanctuary houses? I'm building new house on free spot

I don't know, I even don't have any ,,options,,. When I'm choosing the roof I only have ,,esc-leave,, button

I haven't got any mods. I said that I'm playing standard games without any mods
