I like the robots from the game so much, they have a very cool design. And the robot guard causes an orgasm! This 6-barreled machine gun, chlorogen tubes and terribly beautiful damage animations with the destruction of layers of armor and limbs. And Automatron was a gift for me. Do you love Fallout robots? If yes, then why?

Not everything is so bad, there are boards with electronic nodes, called a military circuit, I think you can make something like AI out of them

Lore wise at least in the OG games only stuff like the ZAX, ACE and other things on that level were real AI and extremely rare and expensive hence the need for useing human brains for smarter robots and other AI computers like the calculatorand Nursery manager.

Vegas mentions the sink appliances having simulated personalities not real AI

Also circuit boards and transistors exist there just a lot more primitive than modern ones because they got discovered far later.
