Fallout 4 So Dogmeat Is Female?

So if Dogmeat is female how can we tell? can she have offspring?
I know we can hire dog from mutant,but I never did having DM to.
So what happens if I bring DM and buy the dog from mutant?Do they fight?

It what people always mention to dogs how does SS know its male?
Was there dog in other Fallout games? How did dogmeat know to find SS?

when you first meet Dogmeat , He would be considered a male according to the first you ''talk'' to Dogmeat , then Overseer McNamara ( the one from the vault where you find Curie ) refers to Dogmeat as a female . So if nothing else , there's some pretty lousing scripting in these fallout games .

I do not remember the Overseer in Vault 81 referring to Dogmeat as female. But if shes does, she is wrong. Maybe because she can not see his balls. :P

You have already been told why he is known to be a male. Your char refers to him as a He.

I do not know about other Fallout games. I only played 3 ( for not that long ) and 4. 4 is far superior to 3.

It's not in the wiki that I could find on a very brief glance a few hours ago but I honestly do faintly remember her doing it. And yes, she's wrong, but the dog model still doesn't look male in any real way, his bits aren't visible nor are they really obscured by 'fur' on the model itself. I can definitely see people being a touch confused about Dogmeat's actual gender based purely on that.

That's a good point. I liked Red Dead Redemption 2, because the horses which where stallions, showed them having balls. Even the penis. It's such a minor thing as far as being offensive.

Dogmeat is a GARBAGE companion. Put it in the doghouse and never do a mission with it ever. Worst companion in the game. To top it off you can't get a Perk from it either.

You have to actually GET a perk to make Dogmeat any good, that's true. I keep him around a bit, but only when needed. I do build dog houses though.

It's still supposed to be a male dog, but visually it's not modeled with the proper male parts.
