Game Crashing When Flipping Switch or Deleting Object
Hey, I have a few power line switches in my base, I have found that turning off 1 by switching it from on to off immediately crashes the game without delay, I have a few mods I have turned all of them off bar truby9 as I run widescreen but I cannot see that affecting it? Ideas on why it crashes the moment I do, I also had one situation where I had an npc going to man a mortar station, I deleted it before they got to it and the game immediately crashed similar to the switch.

Something similar happened to me once where the game crashed as soon as I tried to scrap something related to power

TLDR: it was because of a power grid corruption.

Have a look at the last mod here, https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17777, the power grid tools, you run a small console command and it detects whether you have an issue, and clean it if possible, that solved it for me

i think chaosium is right, you got bit by the power grid bug. the workshop framework mod also has a utility in it that fixes this problem

Sounds great, I will get it downloaded now. I suspect you are right as I had one situation where I had 700 power on the grid but despite being connected a few pylons were not being powered. I thought maybe one of the mods created essentially a range on power so that it must be without a certain range of the power supply but I couldn't find anything as weird as that, I will check out that mod now. :D

I used workshop framework to fix but it continues to crash. The cpd mod isn't working after the next gen update. Any tips?

I got the same issue you are having. I usually brute force myself to find a solution for myself but I am completely stumped. I'm guess it the Next-Gen Update that is causing some mods that fix the issue not to work, but that is my theory.
