How to get Nordhagen Beach
I have every settlement but Nordhagen Beach and I think it's because of a bug and I want to collect all the settlements and work on them as my final thing in the game considering I've done everything else, but I refuse to kill the settlers there because it goes against my whole heroic role play persona. Does anyone have any idea how I can get the settlement under my wing without killing anyone?

The original family is supposed to offer you an allegiance quest... so you're never intended to kill them. If no one is offering the quest it can be fixed with the console commands.
From the Fallout Wiki:
Open the console, click each dead settler to select their reference ID and run the following commands: resurrect (and possibly recycleactor), addtofaction 1C21C 1, addkeyword workshopallowcommand, addkeyword workshopallowmove, addkeyword workshopallowcaravan, setpv bcommandable 1, setpv ballowmove 1, setpv ballowcaravan 1
After exiting the console the settlers can be selected in workshop mode, "moved" to Nordhagen Beach and have clothing/armor equipped via the trade menu if needed. The child settler can be restored with the following commands: player.placeatme 156A13 1, Clicked to select the ref id of the new NPC if not already selected followed by addtofaction 1C21C 1, addkeyword workshopallowmove, setpv ballowmove 1 and then move the NPC to Nordhagen Beach through the workshop menu as above. If one wishes to further restore the vanilla characteristics of the NPCs setpv ballowmove 0 should be set for all, as they are not normally moveable, and will take effect on the next cell reload. The keywords can not be removed with console commands, but can be skipped in the first place if you are willing to trigger a cell reload before attempting to move the settlers

The problem with this is implies I have to kill them before I can fix it and I will not do that.

You just have to keep going back there until they give you a quest. I had to return there 8 times before I got q quest from them on my last play through

All I have had to do is go talk to the settlers there and they gave me a quest. Once you complete it, the settlement becomes yours. This is in over 20 play runs.

Unless, you have a quest to kill them from maybe the Institute? I never have did the main quest ending by joining the Institute. I refuse to join a Socialist Big Brother organization.

Or from a Nuka World gang quest? Another group I refuse to join. I kill the leaders shortly after arriving in Nuka World. They are scums, who deserve to be wiped out.

Thank you as irritated that must be to have to do at least it's gives me hope that I don't have to kill a young boy's parents just to get a settlement.

Are you talking about the Brotherhood of the Steel? Because I can't stand elder Maxon and his version of the Brotherhood Steel. Elder Lyons will be so ashamed of him.

You can have mine. I finished their quest and haven't gone back because I don't need more needy settlers whining about the super mutant neighbors. They insist you go there and set up defense, water, food, beds, supply lines, recruitment beacons and make them happy with little shops, cats and dogs. Unless you're playing survival and need a local base, what's the point of that?

I was a minecrafter so building settlement is kind of fun to me except for when the sellers don't properly walk around the settlement because they're dumb as bricks

I got nordhagen on my 2nd playthrough. Lost Somerville. I'd prefer to have Somerville as its close to the glowing sea and more useful for me.

Not sure how Shenk feels about taking out Nordhagen. I might make that the one raider beach. Not sure how game mechanics work out. Maybe I can pay them to leave.

What exactly do you need the glowing sea for that having a base near it is useful?

Also *fires a flare in the air* to me my Minuteman we have a raider gang to put down!XD

I guess having Somerville Place should let you call Minutemen at least partway into the Glowing Sea, even if it seems kind of weird that they'd go there. :steammocking:

In general terms having a settlement nearby gives you a place to potentially rest and resupply in relative safety, though it's more of a factor in survival mode where you can't fast travel.

That's kind of true

Last character I played was a high charisma one and I think I got every settlement connected by just asking Preston for quests again and again...and...again. It was fun though.

And I definitely remember getting a quest for Nordhagen Beach, around late-game-ish.

I've already collected all of the bobbleheads, beaten the game, and collected all the magazines I just need to get all the settlements and build on them and I have the settlement ambush kit so I will also add camera systems to every settlement.

You join the Nuka Raiders and take it through a charisma check. Raiders can be heroes too. Look at Ragnar. But I guess you killed those good raiders?
