Are there any massive mod pack compilations?
I more or less played this game to death when it was still getting updates, but I want to play a fps with looting again and this is honestly all I can think of that kind of fits my wants.

Im wondering if there are any massive mod packs, more or less just everything I want in one or damn near everything I want in one, so I don't have to install mods 1 at a time, figure out what's broken and if its fixable and then do the same with the next 100 or so mods.

So you'd rather download 100 mods and then have to ... figure out what's broken individually when they break anyway...

Mod packs are never a good idea, because you are NOT guaranteed to find mods that work:
-- on your computer setup
-- without requirements already being there
-- with each other
-- with mods in the pack that need updates and didn't get them...

Figure out what you want, and install them after carefully reading the requirements, posts, and bug reports.

I guarantee you that it's far, far better in the long run for your sanity and your game integrity to do this one mod at a time.

Lmao when was the last time you used a mod pack. This sounds like some skyrim 2012 forum comment. Mod packs are literally made to work together thats like the whole point.

Only if the MA knows what they're doing when they made the collection...

Given that anyone can slap some mods together and upload it as a collection, you really do have to research every mod and version they've used, and question if they've made any manual edits to those mods..
If your going to that kind of effort, you may as well build your LO yourself...

They are still collected editions of things that should in every single case be examined for updates, requirements, and conflicts.

Every time.

Why not do as suggested above: build something for this poor schmuck and see how quickly it breaks for them. Given you know nothing about their system, requirements, desired effects, or anything else I'm SURE that you're more than capable of reading their mind.

ive got a 175gb - 900 mod pack installed for skyrim, 5-6 months and probably 300 hours later and zero problems, stop being such a purist, its cringe.

I seem to be trying to get people to use their own brain to install mods instead of relying on anyone else because 100% guaranteed something goes wrong, they will come here again with absolutely no idea what's IN those packs or how to deal with them. Personal education is >>>>> relying on some other people to do it for you.

Bro not everyone is gonna learn to make their own mod packs what a pretentious ass answer. You should make your own games instead of relying on other people to do it for you. Personal education is >>>>> relying on some other people to do it for you.

I would rather get the modpack of someone who took the time to make sure everything works, get that, then supplement it with things I like, then add in 1 mod at a time till everything I want is installed.

Mod Packs are not a good idea, Downloading a mod pack can cause massive changes to the game and trouble shooting any thing that goes wrong with a single aspect or mod in the pack because next to impossible.

You are better off modding things that you would like to change and doing research on the mod its self to find out what issues it can cause. unless you are very good and adept in using foedit

Vortex does that all for you, the pack is created and tailored to work properly.
