Any solution for long loading screens?

I have brand new PC with high quality graphic card and SSD. Yet the loading times when entering some locations last a few minutes. I play Fallout with some mods installed.
Any tips how to solve this?

made sure your memory is running at speed.

New PC good chance its defaulted to a lower voltage, slowing you down

A few minutes. Are you sure? I have a medium PC, didn't tweak very much, and my average loading time is about 30 seconds. Still long, but not a few minutes.

I didn't count exact time, maybe it's not few minutes, but it's long.

Hi, I reinstalled F4 on my brand new pc too and I noticed long loading times too.

Then i found this mod, you'll see the difference...

PS : this mod, unlikely others, DOESNT deactivate success :)

my level 1 leaving vault 111 = loading screen maybe 10 secs

my level 76 entering/leaving area = loading screen very much longer, several minutes

so besides your hardware, also depends on what you are carrying around with you and your history.

It's related to V-Sync activated while useless during loading screens. This little mod deactivates it while loading. Even at low level i had some long loading times, and this, at every single door....

I had the same problem with very long load times until I switched to an SSD plus use this mod. Load times are nowhere near as long as they were , much better experience.

My method involves no MOD and works(sometimes you have to do it twice) when long loading strikes, Alt-Tab out and back..

I just push the windoes buttong to get to desktop then click on the game icon to get back in game.
I hope the upcoming FO4 update from bethesda will address this.

I had the same issue when I had a bunch of mods installed. It turned out to be a bug. If I mash the buttons, it would kick in.

You may notice that if you wait for the long loading time, when the game comes up, the camera will be orbiting around your character (if in third person?) which only happens if you leave the game running idle, which means the game was already loaded, but the loading screen was stuck. Just press buttons.

ALT TAB works great, this is wonderful advice! The Pip-Boy becomes permanently disabled until I reboot the game, but how much time do I really spend looking at that thing? 5% is my guess.

apparently alt-tab works for some and not for others. I have used it on win 7,10,11 and two different desktops with bethesda games and have no issues.
