NAC X Black squares
I've used NAC X for some time, and I've always had a small issue with it. Every now and then I'll get black squares on my weapons / enemies. It's really annoying and seems to only be caused by NAC X. I'm using MO2.

Using an ENB fixes it, but I don't want to use an ENB because my PC isn't that good for them and I want performance. I've googled all I can and didn't find an answer other than an ENB. Anyone know what's going on?

I've literally looked and asked everywhere for help for this problem and nobody has yet to tell me the solution. Steam discussions are my last resort.

What other things are you using that modify your visuals? Turn down your settings a few notches?

If the mod "seems to be the thing causing it" then... the mod is broken or in the wrong order, or not configured correctly.

I'm not really using any other visual mods. Many people use NAC X with almost no issue at all. I don't know anything else that can be causing it. Turn down my settings? What do you mean by that? If you mean by NAC settings, I've already tried to turn them all off in the MCM, and that fixed nothing. I've tried putting it at the bottom of my load order and everything. Googled it found the same problems but no fix. https://www.reddit.com/r/FalloutMods/comments/ij8aqj/fo4_black_squares_showing_up_on_some_weapons_and/

Your game quality settings. The shaders. Fog and reflection, water, weather, anything like that.

Has it always done this specific thing? Do you know for sure whether it's that specific mod?

If your computer isn't 'real good' then run it at medium settings or turn a lot of stuff off.

I have a perfectly capable PC for running FO4. Ryzen 5 3600 and AMD 5700xt GPU with 16gb of ram. It has nothing to do with my quality settings. It seems to be some sort of enb issue or something, but I do not have any ENB installed. Only installing an ENB fixes it, nothing else. I don't have any other visual mods other than NAC or Fr4nsson's Light Tweaks, which is interior only and doesn't seem to conflict with it. Even with those mods disabled the problem still persists.
