Your about 6 months late to the party there bud...
Grenadier, the Shield Testing Bed, should be superior, with a much higher energy resistance, while the Mark IV (standard) would have a better Ballistic Resistance. Poison should have no resistance to balance this out, in addition to being costly to maintain with Crystal being a component to repair, instead of the Aluminum seen in the T-60 and X-01 (due to the Crystal Gel Layer in the suits)
Aside from that, a Halo One Pistol mod for the .44 Magnum would actually get me to put my 10mm pistol in storage as my sidearm for once.
Other than that I can't really see anything from the Franchise being suitable for Fallout 4's aesthetic (the Halo One Pistol pushes that FAR, but I just love that gun ;w;) Mayyybe a Falcon Vertibird mod, since they're basically the same vehicle.
plus how is poison getting in
also why the need to keep it "balanced"
poison should only work on people not wearing 800 pounds of amour
furthermore there are mods that adds new ammunition so they could make a 12.7mm pistol from halo
siri - talking assistant pipboy/girl.
banshee vehicle.
warthog vehicle.
fuel rod weapon.
force field shield - hand held and or ground deploy.
sticky glowing frags.
and no doubt some of the enemies.
(all from halo 1).
The SRS99D-S2 AM sniper rifle from Halo 4-5 all guns having the maximum range the game allows and the suit to cloak and have no fall damage,
A few armours & weapons from Halo would be grand, but once you get to a certain amount of content, or that one guy who forgets copyrights, the mod will get slammed.
As for Nexus modding, people still port those mods to Bethesda. LordOfWar can confirm that, as his Nexus mod was ported over to Xbox without his consent, leading to him taking his mod entirely offline for quite some time. For more on that, Google Fallout 4 'The Rebel' & look for posts on people asking where it went.

Trust me, Its not New Vegas Content.
