Egret Marina sunken boat at dock.
Is there anyway to permanently get rid of the the boat and masts that stick out of the water? I disabled it but it just re-spawns.

After you disable it, you can call markfordelete and it will be deleted the next time the game does cleanup. I will use disable/enable to make sure I've selected the correct item before I delete. If you aren't opposed to mods, Scrap Everything works great for most of that stuff but also makes it easy to scrap things that you want to keep.

yes get the scrap everything mod, can remove way more stuff in settlements then vanilla does

whatever method you choose to use be certain the boat is the target I acidently removed part of the dock once trying to remove that boat because I felt that was a nice place to put water purifiers.

If you're having issues with scrapping things, by all means: scrap everything is the correct thing to do. Unless you're completely averse to using mods, of course, but then there's just the slogging of disable and markfordelete.

Or get Clean Settlements from the Menu Mods, I think they take care of that for you.

I have used delete followed by markfordelete to no avail, just re-spawns on next load.
Scrap Everything seems to be for XBOX, I have a PC and it would not install.
I have S.C.A.P and I can delete it but, just like using disable it spawns back on reload.
I could use Clean Settlements but I have done a lot of modification to Egret and I would lose hours of work if I did that. So thanks for all the replies, looks like I just have to accept the masts sticking out of the water.

scrap everything works fine on PC, thats what I play on, I used Vortex to install it

if you can't get scrap everything to work then try Spring Cleaning, but keep it mind its much older and mainly for the base game map and will only partially work for the DLC's since not all the DLC scrap items are added to the list

Clean Settlements does not scrap settlements on install, but it does modify ground 0 level, so yeah, you might have work to do. It added brick pavement next to the barn and put more pavement upfront, cleaned up the marina restaurant and the boat. Possibly repaired second floor in barn. That's all I can think of. But what it does is give you the ability to scrap things that are not textures, like the boats, huts, corpses, in your settlement.

I think this depends on what version I use this version and I have never had the boat respawn of course I have always placed water purifiers in the area after scrapping it though one needs to be carful more than once I accidently scrapped part of the dock.

Note I also get the building ground fix patch from its files as I can not place the mortars at the castle in their intended locations otherwise.

here is a screenshot of scrap everything working on that boat, and on PC as well. So not sure why it didn't work for you

You are not supposed to use multiple scrapping mods for a settlement. A scrapping mod creates a .json file for each settlement to create the list of items to change. The game only handles one of these at a time. This also goes for using settlement specific mods as well.

So when you combine multiple scrapping mods and a settlement mod you end up with multiple .json trying to be relevant.

Question, if you know. Would disabling my existing scrapping mod in the load order list then allow the Scrap Everything mod to install - or - would have to delete it or uninstall (if I have the option) I am thinking the latter may be required because of the existing .json files.

Removal of a scraping mod mid game is going to cause all those objects to be restored.

I will do a hard save and then move a copy of the current save list to a safe location and give it a try, If it looks like more than I want to get into I will just copy backed up save back into my game save folder,
