Slave Trading possible in FO4?
From what I could tell, you get to build a base.. So I was just wondering, you think you could build your own slaver den and become a slaver pimp in the world of fallout. Just slap those explosive collars on people to become your precious merchandise and start learning how the business world works in fallout. The merchandice would think twice before running away with those collars fitted nice and tight. If loosing too much merchandice, I suppose we should be able to craft cages to help prevent wastage. In the trailer too it looked like you could also build turret defences. Useful for fear control. It be nice if we could develop more business like prospects in fallout 4. Maybe get to hire some staff to work while your out. Giving raider's paying jobs would be a good choice for staff.

Actually crafting "traps" has just given me another useful idea, but I will save that for another time.

ps- fallouts always had slavers, so this shouldnt be something new. It be good for evil characters a least.

Fallout 2 allowed it, you could go on slave runs for money. And get married and sell your wife, or party members to the slavers once you joined. Games have been getting weak due to censorship imho, its a game and the more real stuff you can do like that the better the atmosphere.

But FO2 was not a game for the masses, they could get away with it, I wouldn't be expecting to see such things in a triple A title, it would just cause too much controversy and maybe even legal headaches for the dev.
Controversy can help games grow, no bad press.

As for legal headache, I'm actually interested as to what measures somebody could take on them.

I find it funny, slavery is fine in something like game of thrones which is for the masses but not in video games.

Edit: controversy can help games grow in places that aren't australia.

I don't think any major American developer would implement a feature where you become a slaver (due to history slavery is still a delicate issue over there). But you can be sure that that there will be at least one mod made for fo4 that will allow you to gather slaves and trade them in your camp.

You could be an active slaver in Fallout 3. There was a quest that let you work for a group of slavers and run around stunning npcs and slapping bomb collars on them. So it isnt like it is something they havent already done before

that's not the same thing as building a trading outpost to sell slaves, I just think it would be far too controversial to be able to actually set up your own slave business.

TV and movies can get away with a lot of things that games cannot. You know the whole video games cause violence etc propaganda against the gaming industry. the video games industry is one that is continuously being discriminated against and where double standards are being applied.

the legal issues are things like the various rights movements who would be complaining that it is causing distraught and thus may take legal action to sue them at court.
No, it would trigger some SJW.

I don't think he paid for the bottle caps but instead of throwing them away after drinking whatever fluid was in the bottle it was attached to he collected them. though he probably did pay a good amount of money to get the caps mailed to Bethesda.

how does that equate planting explosives in their pocket and have them go meet with someone you dont like or intend to claim a bounty on

http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Murder_Carlson_in_NCR

However, if you do not want a fight, you can use his son as a suicide bomber. Talk to the boy for the first time, then set the timer on some explosives and plant them on him, talk to him again and ask him to "tell your father I'm [you're] here?" and watch the boy run inside. Wait for the explosion and receive your experience, including possible title of a Childkiller. The other approach is to give the kid a gun and let him play with it. The kid will run to Carlson and accidentally shoot him with it.

Oh yeah I know that but according to the caps to dollar conversion he overpaid by about $940 or so dollars.
