Reclaiming Boston Airport settlement? (ENDING SPOILERS)

Good afternoon.

I sided with the Railroad and destroyed the Prydwyn. I finished The Nuclear Option main quest. Obviously, this meant I lost Boston Airport as an allied settlement. However, now that the main quest is over, it won't let me get the settlement back. It just says "You aren't allied to this settlement" when I try to activate the workbench.

As far as I know, I cleared out all of the ghouls in the Boston Airport Ruins, including the ones that one guy was keeping in a room and feeding.

Is it possible to get the settlement back? Is there more I have to do? Do I have to let some time pass?

I am playing a modded game and have all the DLCs. To my knowledge, none of my mods are keeping me from getting the airport back unless it's something the unofficial patch does.

If it comes down to it being a bug and console commands are an option, would it be wise to do so or will I create problems?

Are there people living there? If so do they have a Radiant Quest for you?

Honestly if its not one of those I have no idea.

You need to run all over the Prydwyn ruins and kill all the BoS enemies, at least once to unlock it, they will respawn. I think that's how I did it in the Institute run.

As far as I know, I have no radiant quests open involving Boston Airport.

And I had explored the Prydwyn ruins after the fires died down and found a bunch of corpses to loot, but I haven't explored it since then. A good deal of time has passed in game, so I'll explore it again.

Here's an update and a bump.

I walked all over Boston Airport again and found no BoS alive.

I also cleared out Cambridge Police Station just in case.

Lastly, I diverted the settler who was sending supplies to Boston Airport to another settlement.

The issue is still not fixed. It's still telling me I'm not allied to the settlement.
