Is there a way to replace all of fallout 4s ugly base weapons?

I'm trying to find a way, preferably a mod, to replace all of fallout 4s ugly base weapons with real life, modern weapons (ex. replacing the combat shotgun with a shotgun that actually exists irl). Anyone know a mod or a way to do this?

Go to Nexus mods , type in whatever type of weapon you want into their search engine , then spend sometimes hours looking at the weapons you wan't .

Always read everything about the mod's requirements and issues before installing something even if it's just one weapon. But yeah there are tons of weapon replacers including modern (inaccurate to Fallout) ones.

If you go to the nexus and do your own search you will be able to decide for yourself. It's really simple, if you don't have an account you should make one, because that will help you figure out what you've already got, etc.

You can also narrow your search pretty easily... But only you know what you want. I don't use weapon mods. But they're visible literally everywhere in the fallout 4 section.

I like Fallout 4's weapons. Well except for the assault rifle

But I don't think there's any one mod that replaces all of them.

Afaik you’ll need to search and replace specific weapons. There’s not an all-in-one.
