Non-default underwear for naked NPCs

On my install, characters with no clothing nor armor are naked; I've set it that way using CBBE. Almost all the time I don't mind naked characters but right now I'm trying to capture video of a cool fight, but there's a bug and some of the enemies have no clothing nor armor (they also have limbs that can't be targeted). Since the bug rarely happen I don't normally mind, but I'd really prefer when I capture video that there be no nudity since I'd be forced to either tag it as NSFW or blur the parts with nudity (I'm not a fan of video editing), I'd rather not tag it as NSFW since even adults that enjoy nudity might need to log in to allow NSFW (and I assume the vast majority of such situations the potential viewer wouldn't).

If there's a way for underwear to appear over the body texture when an NPC have no clothing nor armor, it would be great. I'd only enable it when capturing video.

Actually it doesn't need to be underwear, it could be clothing, especially neutral-colored apparel.

I suggest uninstalling CBBE and all other such mods.

CBBE has a nevernude option when you install it. Install it again and select that option

If you don't want them to be completely naked, you need to carefully install the correct version and options.

CBBE is designed for nudies. So you'll have to wrest control over it to make sure that you aren't installing the wrong base textures.

I use CBBE and selected the nude option but it should only be for your character not every other NPC they should be fully dressed, There is a mod to make all char nude and you dont require CBBE. The base CBBE preset nude is like the vanilla, you have alter the proportions to your liking or use a preset plenty of them available. You then alter clothing that you download and apply a preset to them in CBBE to fit your char. I would suggest you redownload CBBE you can still use the nude option but dont apply it to all char. Least then you can dress your char and your companions only if you want or have them basically nude if thats you thing.

I assuredly video capture < 1% of my game-play, and probably < 1‰. If my only choices are blurring and uninstalling CBBE, I'll go with the former. Perhaps there's a command to pause the combat then I can reach the bugged naked NPC (if there's one) to clothe it? Something like:

1. pause action
   
2. add clothing
   
3. equip clothing
   
4. unpause action

Maybe try this weapon out its great and eliminates the need to trade with NPC's amongst other things.
It wont fix the problem that you are having and good luck trying to pause the action all the time.

use bodyTalk or cbbe and tick the never nude option for your video capturing... and untick it for your personal fun play.

I thought the only way to do so was by reinstalling the mod. If it's just disactivating a mod, I'll be glad to try it.

It is an option WITHIN the mod, I don't think you even need to disable or change the mod itself. Read the mod's information and watch videos from them, to make sure you know what the entire mod has to offer.

A custom clothing mod might be using a different bodyslide or texture.
