Report a translation problem
Perhaps you're using this with Better Locational Damage mod. It can increase damage output, even though it's unintentional. And the only patch I ever have for this mod is the patch for AWKCR and VIS-G. If you have FO4Edit experience, you can use that to lower the damage output of those weapons.

If I find anything I cant carry (wearing T51 E Armour) I leave it back in my Sanctuary garage.
modern firearms needs work done on the reload animations and the shotguns are a bit strong from far away... and the 50 cal pistol from combined arms does feel OP but that's all I've seen. then if you use BLD getting a headshot is a one shot kill...basically you can die slower/faster depending on what part of the body gets hit
with all these mods you're supposed to take cover and play more tactical. if you stand out in the open and try to face-tank a m249 you're going to get melted. you can survive multiple shots from lower calibur pistols and ARs from Combined Arms, and pistols and SMGs and some ARs from Modern Firearms. this is with BLD installed
I mean really, they literally gave us all the tools we need to tailor the game based on our preferences. Changing damage values for a few weapons isn't rocket science and solves the problem 100% of the time.
Quit waiting on people to fix your problems when you can do it yourself
The Masada is something new, at least; is it Modern Firearms-related or there is one available in Nexus?
Well, that's unfortunate. Maybe you can try mod rebalances of the vanilla weapons if you don't like real-life weapons or all that stuff. I think I saw this one across my search: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/41344
I personally don't try it as installing that will break WSE, New Calibers, and Loads; there is no patch available for them.
