Fallout 4 constantly crashing when on Ultra settings.
I don't have any mods installed except for a few dlcs like the High Resolution pack and the season pass dlcs. I have a 3070 and barely ever get any frame dips below 55.

I run with everything on ultra but do not have the texture pack and never crash.

How does that information help the OP with their problem?
You could not even say whether or not you are using the same video card.

Are these crashes before or after you load a game?

The Buffout 4 mod would tell you what is causing the crashes.

90% it is weapon debris. There is a fix for that using F4SE, but it is probably better to just turn it off.
Newer drivers can also cause crashes, was getting a crash 100% of time when exiting Vault 111, switching to borderless windowed solved that problem.
Besides, hi res texture pack is overrated, something like Vivid Fallout do better job while eating less space and not murdering your load times.
Speaking of load times, installing Buffout 4 and High FPS Physics Fix is good idea.

I turned off "Weapon Debris" and that seemed to fix the issue. Thanks guys.

That is why I asked when the OP was crashing.

I have been getting nvwgf2umx.dll crashes since the update to NVidia drivers last month and I seen a few topics of others having the issue since as well.

I just encountered this and my fix was disabling weapon debris.

While this is necroing a year old post, I've been encountering constant crashes in FO4 ever since upgrading my PC a few months ago, and this thread had the answer, having weapon debris turned on was causing the issue and turning it off fixed the constant crashing. Thanks, and hopefully bumping this thread back up will help others that are having the same problem find the answer to fixing it.
