Roger Warwick, NPC just repeat same lines
So, doing the farmstead quest, but the npc don't let me talk to him. Is there a way to reset the character or something? It is really frustating.

You could try advancing to the next stage of the quest with the console, but you might miss out on some dialog.

How do I do that? The whole thing is kinda weird. Don't want to go into spoilers that much, but the character itself is odd ingame-wise. It seems he is connected to some other quests that are connected to a certain faction that I might have destroyed... hehe.

Anyway. They want mutants dead, and in one save I have killed them. In other save I have not started it yet and but it dosen't matter since he keeps repeating the same lines regardless. Is there a way to force complete the quest so I can just talk to Preston about it?

Reading that you can set stages with the console command, but how do I get the quest ID?

Running into this same bug. Apparently I need to talk to Roger Warwick to complete this radiant Minutemen quest "Warwick Homestead: Greenskins", but anytime I try to interact with him it just opens up the gear trading menu, and can't complete the quest. I wonder if it has something to do with the npc also being tagged as an actor in one of the Institute quests? Ah well just bruteforced it in the console...

Yeah I think so. I also bruteforced it. I can't do anything with the settlement, but oh well.

How did you bruteforce it? I'm on the same quest and stuck with the same issue.

Lets see if I remember. I used the console command sqt to get a list of all quests in my log. Then I searched for the right quest. Make sure to save before so you don't bruteforce the wrong quest. Anyway the quest should be called min-something. Min stands for minuteman.

Then you type in the console command area thingy: completequest nameofquest

For an example, a random quest I have is called: MinRecruit01
It's for the quest "Raider trouble at Nordhagen Beach" and typing

completequest MinRecruit01

completes that quest. Hope it helps.

Same here. He won't initiate the greenskin quest and he just ask to trade.

Has anyone here found the quest stage numbers for this/other radiant quests? I don't want to miss out on shooting Greenskins!

Thanks. Was "minrecruit04" for me, not sure if this differs for everyone depending on when you take the quest etc., since it's radiant and all.

Yeah, I found the stage that I needed was 20, but when I tried setstage, it didn't seem to ever work. I just reset the quest and the radiant system ended up taking me to sanctuary. I may have to skip over warwick homestead for a while.

*SPOILER WARNING*

I had the same problem and I fixed it. In my situation I started the quest from the institute where I had to go to Warwick and give him seeds. I then failed the quest, and started the minuteman quest to recruit warwick homestead. I think what happened was failing the institute quest messed up the minuteman quest and the glitch where he doesn't say anything happens. So what I did is I complete the failed quest from the institute using console commands and then warwicks dialogue options became available. I wrote 2 lines in the console command window one to reset the quest and one to complete it. These are the 2 lines:

resetquest 000986c7
completequest 000986c7

I hope this helps.
