I met him while searching for the Cabot Lady and thought to me: lets see where this is going, i can kill this guy later on... so i gave him all my stuff.

i now cant find a wiki entry on how this progresses further... any info?

Why would you give some wack job all your gear? Maybe no one did that and wrote about it. I would go find a weapon and go back there and get your stuff back. If memory serves there is a safe of something in his office. Probably that is where your gear is.

The story doesn't really go further than that. You either turn him down from the beginning, threaten him at the last minute (and kill him if it fails), or you give him your stuff and kill him anyway. Technically there's also the option to let him have your stuff and run around naked until you find better stuff. But no one would seriously take that option.

Or at least dismantle the evil cult from the inside by exposing its corrupt con man leader without having to kill all the followers.

EDIT:: It had such an eerie vibe to it too. I thought I was going to discover some weird stuff going on once I got in.

i'll be doing it this way now: store all my stuff in a box, then talk to him and come back lateron to see if i get to level 2 or what so ever...

You can do that. You can give some stuff to a companion. You can pickpocket him since he then has EVERYTHING in his inventory. Or my personal favorite, steal a grenade and then give it back to him.

There's a perk that lets you stick a live grenade in someone's inventory. It's probably one of the most useless perks since it's far easier to just stab them, shoot them or blow them up at a distance if you don't care about noise. But it's fun, so... you know.
