Become Paladin of the BoS yourself

Yes you can become a Paladin in the Brotherhood of Steel, though I'm assuming you meant if you can become the Elder? If that's what you meant then no you can't.

no, i meant paladin ^^ im a knight now, so i wondered if i get promoted someday =) do i have to side with the BoS in the end to become it or what must i do to get it?

It's towards the very end, but you don't have to side with them. You do have to give them a network scanner that you used, which will open up a quest that leads you to becoming a Paladin. I don't want to say more otherwise it may spoil some of the story for you.

Yeah, its the second highest rank in the entire Brother Hood of Steel faction, right behind elder. You can only become a sentinel by beating the game with the Brother Hood of Steel.

You can see rank at left "sleeve" of power armor when wearing one and sentinel type armor is different lil more dmg resistance i think.

Also bos ending should set player as Elder,but guess bethasada ran out of time to make bos questline longer.

Doing so meant icing that child star-gone-wrong that's running the BoS. I don't think playing as elder is an option; that idea was scrapped by Beths.


Unless of course, the DLC features strictly companion quests that allows you to 'ice' the wannabe hitler. One can hope now, can they?
