Warning, be sure to save more often and save before doing this .
It should work fine though.
Do NOT use it on companions you dismissed to avoid stupid issues. Just
use it to summon one who was with you on a mission and was lost.

I used the console command to get her back (turns out she was dead, and so her corpse appeared). I ressurected her and I thought all was good, but now she won't move. I can talk to her as normal and tell her to wait, join me, dismiss her, etc, but no matter what she won't follow me. Is there a solution for this?
If you want to find her quick and painless, try
prid 2f1f
moveto player
Don't use the "placeatme" command since this will just spawn a second Piper.
