If you still are in need of the race ids just go into console and type help race 0 and scroll up a bit it sound give you all the race ids.

help race 4 race. When you type a certain 4 letter thing after the 4 it specifies which thing your looking up like race or cell or armo or weap. for cell, I type coc then type a cell code because I borked my game with a bad mod or 3 (Lol) and can't fast travel anymore no matter what, so... I type coc sanctuaryext and boom, I'm home.

Just to add extra data to the necro, the OP's original idea of turning their wife into a synth would depend on which kind. They would see a difference if they changed her into a Gen 1 or Gen 2 synth, since those have a bodily difference (though you're likely to get a robotic body with a humanlike head stuck on it).

But if they want to turn her into a Gen 3, there will be no difference, because there isn't any separate race for Gen 3 in the game. All Gen 3 synths use the normal human race (since they look exactly like humans anyway) with any special treatment of them for things like synth components handled by having NPCs with specific loot drops, or by using other non-race settings.
