Jet Pack - how do I use it?
I finally got the jet pack mod on my power armor. Great! So I hit the space bar thinking that jumping would trigger it. Nope. After an hour of randomly hitting keys and jumping off roofs I gave up. It must be obvious because no one on the net has explained it. Anyone?

Might seem obvious and you may have tried it, but have you tried holding it down? A lot games with jetpacks only activate after the jump.

Holding the spacebar down does nothing either.

You have to jump then hold. So double tap and hold the second.

Yep, it is equipped. Visually, I see it on my back, The torso is now called "Jet Pack Flames X-01 Mk VI Torso" and it is listed in my mods when viewing the armor on the crafting frame.

Jetpack is kinda pathetic though I can barely get on to a roof of a single storey building before i run out of ap.

On keyboard: Spacebar, and mid air Spacebar again
On Gamepad: Jump button, and mit air jump button again

It's just an upgrade for the power armor torso.

You dont get it, you gotta build it at a power armor station. And its the best equipment for the torso, since it helps a lot reaching upper parts of building, or to travel from building to building. If you can't do it, you dont know how to use it to its fully extend

Thanks guys - the double tap was the trick... It certainly isn't intuitive though.
