A Game of Adhesives and Screws

Am I the only one who is constantly hunting for these things? I always seem to run out. Even when I buy the supplies from vendors. Anyone know a good spot?

I used to be, but there's a skill you can take that lets you salvage screws from weapons and armor. And adhesives are easy to come by if you look for them. There's wonderglue and duct tape everywhere.

there's one building downtown that had economy wonderglue everywhere and that's worth 5 adhesive each

adhesive can be crafted at cooking stations, screws can easily be found when salvaging weapons/armor if you have the scrapper perk

Thank you guys so much. I think as soon as I get to my mom's and can play this again, I might take on Swan, get that xp, and get the scrapper perk. I have a nightmare looking for these supplies. Ever since I took my strategy of clearing a place of enemies, going back and picking up EVERYTHING in sight, I had a good stock of supplies, but with a good stock of supplies I used it up a lot, and I constantly run out of leather, screws, and adhesives. Not so much screws anymore, because for a while I didn't have the perk level to upgrade my guns further, and I just saved them up, but adhesives and leather (for my vault suit) are still a big issue.

Really enjoy the scavenging part of this Fallout. Hunting for screws, metal or concrete... Its just brilliant. Sets it above the previous three to boot.

Make Vegetable Starch ata cook station. It can be broken down into Adhesives.

Start farming the ingredients for Vegetable Starch at a Settlement, and you'll never run out of Adhesives again.

Adhesive can be acquired easily. Like what Pyro said, you can use the cooking station to make it. For every 3 corn, 3 tatos, 3 mutfruits, and 1 purified water, you can make 1 vegetable starch. 1 starch makes 5 adhesive. So I'd recommend setting up your settlements with lots of corn, mutfruits, and tatos.
