Can't complete Quest: Weathervane: Back Street Apparel
I started doing some of the missions Tinker Tom gave me, but after a mission where I had to kill the railroad I now can't finish the quest, even though it's still listed in my "active quests". Does anyone know how to actually finish this quest? I've tried resurrecting the NPC but that didn't work, as well as trying to find the quest idea but the command said the quest id/parameters were incorrect so I'm pretty much out of luck even though I do want to have it set as completed as this is one of my last active quests from this playthrough.

Any information or help is appreciated!

Maybe you're missing something...do you have the VANS perk? If so, you could select the said quest only, press your VATS key and than you should see a green "path", showing you the direction of where to go next...otherwise, no idea, sorry...

Edit...on the other hand...you said, that you've started some of the railroad missions, than accepted one that wants you to kill the railroad? Might be a conflict between those two missions, since the questgiver might be hostlie now towards you....just a thought...

The quest giver is death, that's the problem, as he's death I can't interact with him so I can't complete the quest.

Well yea but it doesn't explain why this mission didn't automatically fail after the NPC died. Now it's unfinishable and that really bothers me.

I have the same problem...started doing his quests with those MILAs and then stopped because it was boring doing the same thing over and over...continuted with Mainstory quests and i had to kill the Railroad guys and the quest didnt failed when i killed him and the Railroad...kinda annoying if someone has a way to finish or remove the quest (over console or what ever way u might have) id much appreciate it.

Ive just used the console to finish the quest. Cant remember the commands for it but its all over google just search for "fallout finish quest console command" and you should find it.

When I created this thread, there wasn't any list of the Quest ID's yet and as I didn't managed to find the quest ID myself, I therefore couldn't get it completed.

Now with this handy list: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_4_quests

We can see that the quest in question is: 000b926a

So the following command did the trick for me: "completequest 000b926a"

Hope it helps for anyone else who's experiencing this problem!

Yeah but there was a quest list from the beginning tho. It was just another console command.

The fact that I tried that without success didn't really helped me much in the beginning, not for nothing I resulted in making a thread about it.
