Fusion Cell --> Fusion Core is this possible

Is there a way to utilize a fusion cell and modify it so as to become a fusion core. I know this is a stretch but I have been busting my arse trying to find them. Cheers.

No... that would basically equal to a very easy to access, basically unlimited source of fusion cores which would be rather inflationary.

I dunno why you guys are flipping out. i have over 70 of them hoarded away. Try military checkpoints ( they look like stars in circles as waypoints on your HUD's Compass). Try trading for them. there are a lot of them on the map, you're just not searching with guidelines. The two hideouts for the triggermen in goodneigbor have 4 each after clearing them out.

That scrounger perk can help you finding them, as they are counted as ammo. Certain droid npc can have them, especially the big ones as I always get 2 of those from them.

If you lack caps to buy them then sell everything you don't really need. I cook food but rarely eat it since I find tons of stimpacks anyway to heal me, some more rare cooked food sells for alot. Ammo for a weapon that you don't have can be sold aswell, especially good if you pick that scrounger perk and gets alot of ammo.

But most of the time I don't use the power armor.

Just steal them from BoS power armor I have over 200 and the only useage I find for them is selling them for ammo as power armor sucks

Without trading, i can maintain min 10 max 30 core myself. And i'm using my Power Armor since the time when i first found it. (only exited for sleep or modification so far :p)

Cant find them? Strange, they are in just about every large building... a bunch in the subway... merchants sell them... find them randomly... pickpocket them from enemies in power armor...

I probably have enough cores to wear my power armor all the time...

i don´t think so but Power Cores aren´t really that rare just go search generators and army facillities.

I have 27 more fusion cores not uncluding the one in my PA and I use it most of the time I fight. Idkw hy you cant find any, look harder

Just use the console command to add some fusion cores if you dont find any and you're desperate for some power armour fun.
