Where is the Eyefinity/Surround support or 21:9 support?

This is a tripple A tittle, how can you forget to add support for modern resolutions? Just so you know I refunded my purchase because of it.

An FPS game is best enjoyed at large resolutions, there is just no comparison. I hope this gets patched some time soon.

There is a way to fix the game to run 5760x1080. It involves modding some INI files, and using a mod to fix the menus, but so far modders are doing better at fixing this problem than Bethesda. The maker of Flawless Widescreen is working on a fix at the moment, but it's not yet included in the program.

Best Fix so far:

First you need to edit 2 INI files named Fallout4Prefs.ini. On located in your Documents folder, and one located in the Steam folder. I've heard only the Documents edit is necessary, but I edited both. Edit the files to have these values.

bTopMostWindow=1
bMaximizeWindow=1
bBorderless=1
bFull Screen=0
iSize H=1080
iSize W=5760

Then you need to add this mods to fix the HUD an menus.

Just copy the Interface.ba2 over your original.

It's also said to edit "Fallout4.ini" in myDocuments with the Line:

fSafeZoneX=250.0
fSafeZoneXWide=1300.0

I haven't done this, and really don't know what it's supposed to do. My game seems fine without it.

^ that fix DOES work, however some of us have a light bug that makes the top half of the screen flicker. Can be fixed by disabling "bComputeShaderDeferredTiledLighting=0". But that just sucks. I love the lighting, especially with the pipboy mods

The fix worked for me, looks awesome. But now I can't ALT+TAB out of the game. Anybody else have this problem?

It's because the fix forces a top most window.

NICE. I spent 6+ hours trying to get anything close to this working. I tried Fallout4UltimateTweakTool and a "Fallout4 - Interface.ba2" file from wsfg and it almost worked. Workbench crashed. I was skeptical of a YouTube video since most of them drone on and rarely work.

This video fixed all my issues; video was short and sweet.

This video works for my NVidia Surround GTX 970.

I spoke too soon... I tried to play around with my desktop resolutions for streaming, came back to FO4 and now it's crashing on the workbench again. I wiped FO4 app, re-installed and did the process again and it is still crashing at the workbench. Is there any kind of debug output I can look at or give you/us? I know it can work, which is bugging me big time!! TIA...

You need to go to your fallout DATA dir / INTERFACE & delete the files workshop.swf & workshop_caravanmenu.swf If you have those. Any interface mods will crash upon a new update.

I just wanted to show proof that it works on 6048 x 1200. You tube dropped the resolution down but, yeah, it works like a charm for me. If anyone needs my specific config recipe, let me know.

Weird. Almost every other game out there has better support on Radeon, but Nvidia apparently bedded Bethesda.
