was roaming around along the coastline. found a big cargoship. in this ship all raiders screamed in swedish maybe?

its realy hillarious.

so maybe an eastern egg or just stranded swedes.

edit: most likely norwegians, Fms northernstar is most likely a refernece to MS Nordstjernen. a norwegian ship that is translated to "ms northern star" (credit to Jirki88)

So I read a few translations that are up on the wiki and now I'm kinda depressed. Apparently most of their lines roughly sum up to "leave us alone" (one of them apparently being that line literally), and their death line being "I'm coming home". Also given that it's a cargo ship it suggests that Norway may have survived the Resource Wars which as a lore nut is kind of exciting.

betsedha must have some thoughts behind this. they must have some kind of lore. i havent had the heart to kill those swedes/norwegians but, have anyone found some notes or computer on northstar who can tell us more?

Sadly all their terminals do are control the turrets and lights. There are no entries to read through.

They're not from after the apocalype though. That's a cargo ship, the most logical explanation is that they were doing a shipping run before the war and the bomb blasts beached them and shut down their engines, stranding them on that beach for 210 years. Like what happened to Zao.

yeah but if it would be a smal eastern egg that scandinavians have turned viking again in the apocolalypse would be way more awesome ;)

I'm from Denmark and understand what they say perfectly, i thought my game with some magic had changed language settings xD - And afterwards when i found out why the hell, they spoke that language i laughed quite alot.

And as far as the language goes, i can truly say it's not danish, the dialect is far from any of our accents. It must be Swedish or Norwegian (Not really sure),

yeah its swedish/norwegian, are from sweden myself. have texting on so i had some great time hiding and just listening.

remember they screaming something like: "va vill du ha fran oss?" wich means: what do you want from us?

and so on. will get back there and write everything down ;p (sry for my english)
