Bring in the modders!
I assume you're referring to Paladin Danse? He doesn't wear a PA helmet.. His helmet is broken.
You can take yours off, even take the hood of danse but no open faced helms.
I'm referring to most Brotherhood soldiers who use power armour. I know Bethesda does this to make faces recognizeable - But I should be able to do it as well, without losing out on at least "set" bonuses.
Of course - And that's what I've been doing. But because I'm not wearing a helmet, I lose out on bonuses from my paintjob, because it requires the same paintjob...on all parts.
The problem is they cant make an item invisible that you have on, because the item is not part of you (the dropped model is the same thing as equipped)
Personally, I'd like getting the +1 Charisma bonus from my paintjob.
I see what you want now then, hopefully a mod will arrive that will do it.
skyrim also has a script mod that puts the helmet on automatically when combat begins and takes it off when it ends. cant see why that script wouldnt work here
*sigh*
Seems like this is a thing for GECK kit at any rate... Such a long wait ^^
Also I'm shocked the hazmat suits helmet isn't transparant.
X01s helmet is kinda a bubble already
Hazmats never been clear, partly because of having it be a generic grunt uniform (in older games)
