BOS paint on X-01 power armor.
Why can't you add BOS sentinel paint on power armor on the X-01 power armor but you can have institute paint on it. They should add a patch to where you can paint the X-01 power armor BOS Knight, Paladin, or sentinel paint.

In a logical stand point the BOS are not technologically advanced enough to support X-01 paint jobs. In the fallout universe the X-01 is a post-war power suit that very few in fallout 4 even know exsists. in the story The Institute has a paint job for the X-01 being they are technologically advanced.

I'm sure they have the technical know-how for a spray job

So, they have a blimp, but not the expertise to open a paint can / spray bottle?
Lol, you started that statement with "logical"... LOL

where do you get the BOS paints?

if you know about the lore, X-01 power armor used to be the power armor of Enclave, an enemy of BOS, having a BOS logo on it just seems weird. The institute is an enemy of BOS, having its logo on it always remind me the good old Enclave.

BoS paint is magical strength improving paint. So clearly it's more tricky than just spray painting it on. or something. maybe.

On that note, does BOS paint give you notably more of a bonus than Military paint? All you see in the crafting screen is the same "increases Strength" description for both.

when you officially join the BoS on their airship, you get a free suit of BOS power armor, and unlock (no message tells you this) BOS paintjobs for power armor and combat armor.

On that note, BOS Combat Armor, is just normal combat armor with a specific modification. It doesn't raise the physical or energy defense, but gives you rad resistance instead.

I left most of my combat armor set to Polymer, but I have a BOS style combat armor helmet, because that's the same rad resistance as an assault gas mask but with actual weapon protection and it lets me still wear cool sunglasses.

Being clad in the colours of the brotherhood imbues the wearer with a strength born of a righteous cause :)

They need to add X01 BOS Paint in a coming coming patch. Yes i get it is enclave tech ( I have the original games that cant be played on modern PCs. Played them in the 90's and such.) the brotherhood would never forgoe using tech to their advantage unless they see it as a danger. It it took him two hrs to learn how to paint cars. I think the BOS have what it takes.

There is a mod for that already,
just google "Brotherhood of Steel Paintjobs for X-01 Power Armor by Hocter "

Its already there. Along with BoS paint for the T-45 and T-51. And RR, Minuteman, and Institute paintjobs for all the armors.

Who cares? Explosive Shielding is the best from a practical standpoint, anyhow. :p
