Console Command Question
So I was messing around on a save with commands and what not and I remember from my main save that I had found different variations of the same armor, like Combat Armor, Sturdy Combat Armor, Heavy Combat Armor. etc. How exactly does one go about spawning in the different variations as I have found no way of differentiating this as the help command only show Combat armor. (I also noticed when you spawn in, I think the left leg for combat armor, it spawns sturdy combat armor)

That doesn't help me that much... qasmoke only has one of everything doesn't it? What if I seek more, I was just wondering if there is some hidden variable to the additem command I don't know about. Kind of how Minecraft has different Data tags for some of its blocks.

place the item on the floor then click on the item in console command with your mouse then write down the code so you can add it with player.additem

The command for all the different versions of combat, leather, metal, and raider armor are the same. It's random what putting in the command gives you. You'll just have to keep putting the code in.

the difference with those are just mods right?

I can't check ingame since I'm doing something, but doing help "<mod name>" 4
and getting the ID of the omod, you can use the amod command to attach a mod to the item.

To attach a mod:

1) Drop item
2) Look at item then grab it by holding E
3) Open console, then type GetPlayerGrabbedRef
4) Type <Item ID from Step3>.amod <omod ID>
5) It will now have the attached mod

I'm warning you now that to NOT PUT special omod cause some are quest specific and some might trigger part of the quest breaking the progression.

Seems kinda annoying, I'll see... I suppose it's up to cheat mods to change that.

Hmmm... I'll have to try. I know the whole heavy thing is not a craftable mod, but if it is one of those hidden omods that I've randomly seen, then maybe. I'm not too knowledgeable on omods yet.

additem <item id> 10 (or whatever number you want)

Some will be basic, some sturdy, some heavy. Take what you want and sell/scrap/discard the rest.

I'm sure if you're talking about prefixes, then it's just a mod difference. But if it's leather vs metal vs combat, then no it's a different item completely

I was just curious if there was some way to differentiate between sturdy, heavy, normal and so. Guess not according to you guys but that's fine. Thanks for answering guys!

You have to add something to an .ini file. I don't remember what as mine worked right away. You can download an ini editor from its nexus page and it has a check mark that activates the console.

There is a amod code for standard, sturdy and heavy I used but can't find it anymore so if some finds them put them here

They randomly spawn, each variant has the same base id. I made a bat file to spawn a whole set of combat armor, and it took me about 30-40 tries to get a full set of heavy combat armor.
