Entering to craft power armor crashes game. Fix????

Hey! Everytime I go to upgrade my power by pressing E to craft it just crashes, I have tried to go windowed, borderless and a combination too. Drivers are up to date, thanks for the help!

I found my fix, I had the frame on with no armor and tried to craft it which crashed it, If that is what is happening to you you can just equip the power armor through your pip boy without having to go to a armor station.

This just started happening to me. Conditions are-
Found the frame, not stolen.
Modified extensively, and used it a lot.
Had Piper using it many times, repaired after no problem.
Bare frame-crashed over and over trying to repair.

Problem solved-you cant craft the empy frame. At least one piece has to be on it.

I also am or have been experiencing this CTD BUG. I found my PAF, at an undisclosed location, and tried to craft it at my PAS which it completely and immediately CTD; it is repeatable. This needs to be addressed in the next patch upgrade.

P.S. This can easily be fixed by the DIV's with minimal effort: 1) provide player notice that they need to transfer power armor items to power armor frame through pip boy prior to crafting when pressing the E key at the power armor station. 2) disable the E key at the power armor station when player tries to craft the power armor frame only.

I will have to try this because I have had the same problem like why Bethesda can’t fix this is dumb like you did just remove the button to fix power armor when the power armor is empty
