Where to hunt stingwings?

So I'm insterested in trying out the syringer, specifically the Lock Joint Syringe, and I have everything I need to brew it up except the stingwing barb.

Now, I've seen people on the forums here and elsewhere complain about all the stingwings they have to fight, but at level 25 I think I've maybe come across 2 or 3 in the entire game so far. Maybe it's due to the difficulty level (I'm on Survival) but I've been wandering the wastes and fighting plenty of mole rats, feral ghouls and deathclaws but haven't seen a single stingwing in hours.

Anyone know where I can go to farm a few of these bad boys?

Last night I explored North & West of vault 111. I ran into about 4-6 near water or buildings.

I've seen stingwings in the Glowing Sea if that helps.

Just found a group of 4 on the road NE of Greentop Nursery.

They swarmed next to a bus on the road.

There's a sewer with tons of flies between the Taffington Boathouse and Malden General Hospital. There's even some flies in the Boathouse itself.

Also, Glowing Sea has tons of mosquitoes.

I usually see a set of 3-4 stingwings not far from the Old Gullet sinkhole -- hmm on the hillside, I think North? of the pit...

Northwest of Mass Pike Interchange is a place you can find power armor alongside a road. There are a couple of stingwings on the hills behind it.

Also you can try the medical centre and the surrounding area just south of Fort Hagen.
