yea thats the problem i have to i relly hope they patch it sone or somone know how to fix it becouse i need to run the game in windowd mode atm for the game to work correct
no i dont have 2 monitiors i dont know whats make my game to minimize all the time .. i tried everything i could find about this problem but its still doing it.
i only have skyp running in the background from what i know..i stoped all other programs that i had running in the background i even tried whit skype off
yea i found out that to when i dont move my mouse durning loading screen the game sometimes minimize it self..and im not sure why i tryed all the solutions i found on the webb and no one works for me so far
I also had a pip-boy crash - so at some random point when I would use the pip-boy, and this is often in Fallout, I would crash. I had to spam quicksave like every other five minutes or something and finally got annoyed.
Instead of remapping the pip-boy, I simply put my game in wondowed mode. Then went ahead to make it borderless because it's more pleasant to play this way. This fixed my game minimizing from pop-ups as well as fixing the pipboy bug. I fixed the resolution so it looks like I'm playing full-screen, even though I'm not. =D I'm a happy camper.
1) In the Start Menu, type "event viewer" and launch Event Viewer
2) On the left, expand Windows Logs and click on Application
3) In my case, whenever Fallout 4 minimized, I would also get a couple of new events in this log, one of which was an Error.
4) Click on the error log and look for which application caused it. In my case it was vpnagent.exe, which is a part of Cisco's AnyConnect VPN Client (a program used for vpn connections to my workplace network).
5) In Task Manager's Processes tab, make sure the offending executable is closed when you run Fallout.
6) The executible could also be running in the background as a service, so look under the Services tab in Task Manager as well. In the bottom right corner of the Services tab is a button called "Services...". From the window it brings up you can right click on individual services and bring up their properties, and change their Startup type to "Disabled" (if you don't need the executable to run when Windows starts).
Hope this helps!
