Got a problem my fallout4 keeps minimizing
The game dosent crash or anything, its just keep minimizing like every 30 min or somtimes more.
And after the game minimized it self it keeps some strange resolution on my screen..
Is this a bug or something wrong whit my pc?

I've been having this exact same problem, it usually happens during loading screens. Once I alt-tab back into the game the resolution is way too small and it's the wrong aspect ratio. So it's definitely not just you.

Do you by any chance have multiple monitors connected to your computer? I found a sort-of solution on my end; when I unplug my second monitor the game stops minimizing and changing resolution, and when I plug the second monitor back in the problem starts again. It's super annoying to have to do unplug one of my screens for every play session, so I hope Bethesda can fix this in the next patch.

What do you have running in the background? My dad had this issue and it turned out to be some program trying to update. Fallout doesn't seem to manage losing focus very well.

I would suggest seeing if you have sticky keys on? I use shift to pick up a lot of stuff, and if you hit it 5 times in a row, it shrinks what you are doing to the main screen.

I am having the same problem. My issue happens randomly and during gameplay. If I open the pipboy or press esc and go to the john or something, I'll come back and game is minimized.

I'm having this same issue too, so is my girlfriend, and others at work. What's the fix, this happens frequently enough to ruin the game in most cases.

I am also experiencing this with version 1.2.37.0.0 Sometimes the game seems to lose focus and I get a white mouse pointer. If I do nothing the game minimizes after a few seconds, or if I click or press any keyboard key it minimizes immediately. Once in this state I sometimes have to re-start the game; other times it goes away after 4 or 5 attempts. It's always after alt-tabbing and seems more likely to happen when Chrome is running.

I've had this same problem. For me it's because I am running off a "windows not genuine" version. So I will constantly get pop-ups which automatically minimizes the game (but it doesn't do it to other games stangely, I think). Anyways...

I also had a pip-boy crash - so at some random point when I would use the pip-boy, and this is often in Fallout, I would crash. I had to spam quicksave like every other five minutes or something and finally got annoyed.

Instead of remapping the pip-boy, I simply put my game in wondowed mode. Then went ahead to make it borderless because it's more pleasant to play this way. This fixed my game minimizing from pop-ups as well as fixing the pipboy bug. I fixed the resolution so it looks like I'm playing full-screen, even though I'm not. =D I'm a happy camper.

I had this problem too (Windows 7) and I was able to fix it with a little bit of searching through Windows event logs.

1) In the Start Menu, type "event viewer" and launch Event Viewer
2) On the left, expand Windows Logs and click on Application
3) In my case, whenever Fallout 4 minimized, I would also get a couple of new events in this log, one of which was an Error.
4) Click on the error log and look for which application caused it. In my case it was vpnagent.exe, which is a part of Cisco's AnyConnect VPN Client (a program used for vpn connections to my workplace network).
5) In Task Manager's Processes tab, make sure the offending executable is closed when you run Fallout.
6) The executible could also be running in the background as a service, so look under the Services tab in Task Manager as well. In the bottom right corner of the Services tab is a button called "Services...". From the window it brings up you can right click on individual services and bring up their properties, and change their Startup type to "Disabled" (if you don't need the executable to run when Windows starts).

Hope this helps!
