So I found out how to build anywhere...

Type this into console and it will place a workshop at you. With the workshop, you can build whatever you want and scrap most things in the area. It does have a build radius too, even though it doesnt show.

so all we really need is a mod that adds a recipe for it in a crafting table of some sort to make a relatively balanced build anywhere mod.

It's already been known for a long time you aren't the first one to come up with it, all you can do is build, the fast travel doesn't work and you cant get settlers

No that fast travel marker doesn't create a marker. Say your building a settlement in starlight drive in and make a fast travel marker at the edge of the build radius. It will move where you usually spawn in ( by the gate ) to where you put the marker I believe atleast.

You can't get things like settlers either because they aren't classified as actual settlements im sure once we get the GECK we can do that but for now its not really possible

That is awesome and maybe something they where planning on unlocking in the future... I means to get all the settlements rebuilt will take a lot of resources and I dont know if you can find enough of everything...
