I wish the army helmets counted there. "Hey this has a strap for an attachment on the model cool.... oh I can't modify it"
Being able to modify stuff like the assault gas mask to have better radiation resistance would also be cool.
I mean, I get not being able to modify cloth hats. Or any of they eyes/face stuff like sunglasses and bandannas. But I expected more armor types, nevermind helmets, to be moddable.
"Oh cool, SPIKED armor chest!... Oh I can't modify it at all nevermind then"
That's not even getting into the visual stuff. like my Metal armor chest default still looking like rusty garbage even after I make it "painted" or maxed out at alloy. (I mean, I know there are a lot of mods and parts, but at least make the Max Upgrade visially distinct there)
Unrelated to helmets again. "Oh cool I found dogtags... oh it's only junk to scrap for steel, can't wear dogtags."
I read that reaching a certain point in the railroad quest line gives you acces to mod clothing, but haven't got that far yet.
