I took piper with me when I talked to Maxson, and I have to say I am disapointed.
Here in front of me is a General who just moved an entire army into the Commonwealth, and to my side is a news reporter. Shouldn't she have, like 100's of questions to ask Maxson? Hell, when you 1st show up at Boston Airport if you go on foot, shouldn't she allready be there, arguing with the gate guard about trying to get an interview as local press?! I instantly lost all respect for her as a reporter.
That is one place where I feel they missed an oppurtunity npc world interactions.
I mean, when we first meet her she's nervous about just being outside the gates even with guards and defensive turrets around, and a lot of her news is focused on Diamond City. I don't think she actually gets out and about all that much.
Okay, with respect to the airport, that's fair: right? BUUUUT, what about bringing her along as my companion for the raid to liberate Der Kessel for The Minutemen? Shouldn't there have been an issue of "Publick Occurrences" that comes out after that with a title of something along the lines of "Minutemen; The Rising Phoenix!" about the battle and its immediate aftermath with re-installing the old shore-batteries on the towers?
Strong has left the chat.
also inb4 this thread was quite old before the recent post so we're locking it to prevent confusion
It's still news I suppose, so she should be writing about it. Unless you live in a soap opera, there's only so much newsworthy activity that can go on in a single settlement the size of a baseball stadium.
