"War never changes" This bothers me more than it has any right to.

How many times does Bethesda repeat this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ line? The impact was lost on me after your default character repeats "War never changes" for the 3rd ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time. There's a reason this line was impactful in the other Fallouts. THEY DIDN'T ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ REPEAT THEMSELVES AND FALL INTO REDUNDANCY. And then they continue! They KEEP...♥♥♥♥♥♥♥...SAYING...IT.

Yup, I'm posting this purely to rant about how Bethesda ruined one of my favorite lines in the video gaming industry. No, there isn't any logical or meaningful complaint here.

If I may, perhaps it is also a commentary on desensitization and acclimatization of the masses (as seen in many other aspects of the game).

In this sense, your reaction is then both intended and a solidification of some of the concepts the game is meant to express.

"War never changes" is for Fallout what "I never asked for this" is for Deus EX or what "arrow in the knee" is for Skyrim...that's almost like a slogan to the franchise, and you can't simply wipe it out, lol.
