Legendary or unique assault rifle?

Anyone find a legendary or unique assault rifle yet? I've been using the overseers guardian unique combat rifle now on full auto but I love the model of the assault rifle and I've been genuinely surprised to not even find a legendary variant yet.

There doesn't seem to be one. 90 hours in on Survival difficulty, and not a single legendary assault rifle nor unique.

found some legendary assault rifle that granted me nimble. you can find any kind of legendary weapon from any legendary marked enemy. unique is from traders, quests, or someway however you get them

Unique from certain custom names and some bonus effect.

they seem to generate randomly,
i've got one or 2 legendary assault rifles, one does cryo damage and the other ignores like 30% of the opponent's ballistic and energy DR.

Legendary monsters are uncommon but by no means rare. shouldn't be that hard to find

i found one with burning, on a named gunner at quincy i believe. it could be you have to be south enough paired with levelled enough to have it drop..

Guess I got terrible luck. Are they actually lacking a named unique though?

Nope, the big bulky 5.56 one. It's the only gun in my arsenal that doesn't have a star and it's bugging me.

Vault 85 or whatever the vault that actually has nice people in it. Legendary assault rifle for purchase.

Maybe you're thinking of the Guardian's rifle, which is a combat rifle, not assault.

There is. I had the same prob with double barrel shotgun but after 200 hours and countless legendary kill i finally found one. I was using a normal dbl shotty until then.

The only legendary double shotguns that ever drop for me are Nocturnals, which I find a bit too situational.

Mine was the 50% limb damage. Im still looking for a double shot or increase damage one. Wish we could craft our gear/weapons like in skyrim.

I think it would be really overpowered if you could "enchant" your own guns, like adding explosive and double shot to everything. But it also sucks when the pseudo RNG gets stuck in a rut and all you ever get are Hunter's Leather Right Leg.

I found the equivalent of the overseers as an assault (double projectile). Nice ofcourse, but, really overseeers is still better. What is better though that assault rifles can be upgraded more. While with combat rifles you basically just need gun nut 2 (3 for some upgrades but you can find them on other weapons).

A shotgun with unlimited ammo (meaning no reloading) is awesome. Reloading after two shots is its only weakness.
