Stuck in power armor, Holding E doesn't Work.

I have been stuck in my power armor for 13 levels now. I know what your going to say, "Hold E", but no. I have tried this and the result is me in third person not moving or doing anything for that matter. I have to re load my save and it's annoying. I don't know what to do and no matter what I have tried my power armor is not coming off.

Try hitting escape, like did it get stuck in the inbetween phase of exiting? Esc works for that I find

Did you try removing the power core ? after a while you should get kicked out of it... it works as well on armed enemys if you pickpocket there core!

ooops...sorry...only read the 1st page before writting...but if it helps you bite the bullet and reset your level...i had to go back from lvl 128 to 112 in one playthrough ...now that was painfull

Indeed he is. Why this works and no 'E' who knows but It got me in to the suit on top of the museum finally.

Maybe it´s too late but there is a way to bug the game and enter another power armor. You will need a mod for this. POWER ARMOR ANIMATION CHANGES http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/4408/?
You will lose at least 3 armor frames so be advised.
Use NMM to install this mod because it will ask for some modifications.
Check all first five boxes and install the mod.
Now enter your game.
Open the console and type "unequipall" without quotes (maybe will need "player.unequipall" instead).
It will make your PC naked and bugged.
Store everything somewhere. It will save your armor mods and you will not lose more than a power armor frame.
Now open your console again. Type "player.inv" (everytime, without quotes). Locate something like "00xxxxxx blah blah power armor frame blah blah".
Type "player.drop" 00xxxxxx (00xxxxxx is the value of the armor frame).
Now get at least 2 power cores that you stashed somewhere.
Stay behind a power armor frame and start pressing E as fast as you can.
It will bug and you will enter the armor frame. But it can bug this armor frame too...
Now for the conclusion. Go to another power armor frame and start pressing E as fast as you can again. Another bug and now you will enter properly and solve the problem.
AND NOW UNINSTALL THE MOD or it can bug everything again. You can even reinstall but use the fast animations and not the instant.
Maybe it will help future players.

I had this bug and found another easy fix, at least it worked for me. With the tilde key (~) find a PA station or another workbench like for weapons, armor or cooking and select the nearest one, then type the "activate player" command and you should pop out of your PA. Hope this helps anyone else with this bug.

I don't care if this is digging up old topics, but boy am I glad you had the answer for me.
I downloaded a mod that messed up my PA and your solution worked for me.

So I just started modding and ended up stuck in my power armor as well. I was in the power armor on top of the museum in Concord. When I would get into the power armor, I would instantly be in the PA but without my HUD and unable to exit. I tried everything in this forum, and nothing worked for me.

I ended up reinstalling the PA Animation Changes Mod and not adding the Instant Fusion Core part of the mod, I felt like that was the issue. Then load a save when I was outside of the PA. I am now able to enter and exit with the quick animation mod and see my HUD.

Hope this helps you if you were modding.

I SOLVED THIS... for me atleast, i had the same the armor graphis where all messed up and not sitting in the right place, i had the hud as if i wasnt in a suit though... all i did was get in another suit and then got out and BAM saved myself from a full 3 days play time back save :)

Thanks totally worked. Although the power armor frame I was wearing has now disappeared :(.

I have the same issue, I can't exit my suit of armor. Went to add a Fusion Core in Sanctuary and now it looks like I'm wearing multiple suits of armor. I didn't try to access the armor, it just "jumped" into it after the inserting of the Fusion Core animation. I'm going to load an earlier saved game, but this is REALLY annoying as I just built a whole frickin' town since my last save.
