Black Screen - Sniper Zoom
Hey guys, i already played round about 40h with no problems at all, but suddenly when i tried to clear out a building a stupid bug ruined it. I used the zoom of my sniper rifle i enjoyed playing with for hours and the screen fated black. I see the HUD and crosshair. i can use the pipboy and see all of his functions.. but i cant see s***. That bug seems to happen everytime now..

Help? :D

I am having the same issue. Only way to fix it is to quit to desktop and hope it doesn't randomly occur again. It does occur 100% of the times when the first thing I do in the game is pull out the sniper (or already have it) and right click to zoom.

no. no help, no patch, no fix. played for 10mins now and it occured agan. it's just like jokerbla said. quit to desktop, start again.. and hope you get some minutes without that stupid bug.

i just have to use sights without zoom...kinda sux but i geuss it works :/ but the game is getting very annoying to play with the insane brightness...

i'm now having it all the time unfortunatly, i don't even need to scope in on my gun its just always this black screen.

oh wait.. you got that insane brightness as well? i'm trying to fix that for days.. its almost impossible to play during day.

i also had that bug, it sounds silly but make sure lens flare etc are all turned off and make sure that all your graphics settings are saving when you change them it was lens flare that fixed that problem for me.

Did you get it to work?? Otherwise my husband just had another error, but typing in this below also helped him with the same error you had:

Type in console: rimod 00094636

THX..finally. at least we managed to kill 1 annoying bug

my sniper zoom bug seems to be gone aswell...maybe im just lucky but havent had one since

maybe the constant nightvision bug did something to the scoping when it wasnt a nightvision scope? no idea :D

all my errors have now been fixed with that command, its some kind of wonder command i think haha
